HubNet Smartgrids Symposium September 2012

The HubNet Smartgrids Symposium took place in Bristol on 11th and 12th September 2012. The Smartgrids Symposium is an annual event that showcases outcomes from the UK Smartgrid research community to a broad audience of stakeholders.

Each day of the Symposium started with a keynote address from international and industry based experts. Presentations covered a range of topics, from ICT research for the Smart Grid to energy storage and offshore DC grids. Workshops were held to gather views on challenges faced and the "smartness" of the Smart Grid. In addition over 30 posters were displayed throughout the event.
