The HubNet Smart Grids Symposium 2014 took place at the University of Strathclyde on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th September. The Smart Grids Symposium is an annual event that showcases outcomes from the UK Smart Grid research community to a broad audience of stakeholders.

Around 35 PhD students and Research Assistants (RAs) presented posters at the Symposium. A list of the posters is in the file below. The best poster prize was awarded to Tim Hughes (University of Southampton) for his poster on Environmental Controls on the Thermal Performance of Submarine High Voltage Cables.
